We offer a unique, wood-fired sauna experience in the heart of Hove, tucked away in the beautiful garden of Flat Out coffee shop.

What gets us hot

Authentic Wood-Fired Heat

Unlike most urban saunas that use electric heaters, we use a traditional wood-burning stove. This creates a softer, more atmospheric heat that is a truly unique experience.

You can't find us on a busy street. Our location in a coffee shop garden gives you a peaceful retreat from the city. Enjoy a coffee before or after your session, all in one spot.

We’re a little tucked away—that’s part of the magic! Here’s everything you need to know to find our slice of paradise.

Our Location:

You’ll find us in the beautiful garden of Flat Out coffee shop.

  • Address: Sun of a Beach Sauna, c/o Flat Out, 59 Church Rd, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 2BD.

  • What to do: Just walk straight through the coffee shop, grab a drink if you fancy, and head out to the garden. You can’t miss us (just look for the steam!).

Getting Here:

  • By Foot: We are just a short walk from the seafront! .

  • By Bus: The area is well-served by Brighton & Hove buses. The nearest stops are for routes 1, 1A, 2, 5, 5A, 6, 25, 46, and 49, which all stop on Church Road.

  • By Train: We're a 15-minute walk from Hove Station or a 20-minute walk (or short bus ride) from Brighton Station.

  • By Car: On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets. We recommend using the PayByPhone app for convenience. Please check local signage for restrictions.
